How do I survey people who have no Salesforce login?
Run the survey on a public Experience Cloud page. With AutoSurvey, a guest can answer from a link or a QR code with no login, and the response is a Salesforce record in your org. Guest pages get CAPTCHA and rate limiting.
What a guest can do
- The guest creates exactly one kind of record: its own submission and its answers.
- The guest reads only the survey definition that the page needs to show.
- A guest cannot list or reopen another person's submission.
How AutoSurvey runs a guest survey
- The guest survey runs on the AutoSurvey survey runtime, a Lightning web component. No Flow interview is created for a guest, so the guest-user Flow access problem does not apply to it.
- If you build your own guest-facing Flow, our note on Flow access for guest users gives the checklist.
Other ways to reach people
- Send from a Campaign, a pasted list or a Flow, with reminders and suppression.
- Run the survey behind login for authenticated users.
- Verified-email double opt-in is available for guests.
Watch a survey answer land on the Case
Real product, sample data · 60 seconds, with captions. A customer answers a short survey about their support case. The score, the answer and the comment land in fields on that Case. Then a record-triggered Flow, built by the admin, opens a follow-up Task because the score is low.
