Salesforce Einstein · AutoSurvey core feature
Run AutoSurvey’s AI features on Salesforce Einstein.
Use the Einstein models in your own Salesforce org for survey drafting and question tweaks. No outside AI key is needed.
AutoSurvey uses AI to draft a survey from a short description, to tweak one question, and for other steps such as picking art. Today you run these steps with your own AI provider key. With this feature, an admin can choose Salesforce Einstein models instead. The request runs inside your Salesforce org, through a prompt template action. AutoSurvey stores no API key for it. Your org’s own Salesforce Einstein usage pays for each request.
No outside AI key.
You do not enter or store an API key for Einstein. AutoSurvey calls the Einstein models that your org already has.
The request stays in Salesforce.
Your org makes no outside web call for an Einstein request. AutoSurvey does not change your Trust Layer settings.
Choose a model for each step.
An admin picks a model for each AI step. You can use Einstein for some steps and other AI providers for other steps.
How it works
- 1Your org must have Salesforce Einstein generative AI turned on.
- 2An admin opens the AI provider settings on AutoSurvey Setup Home and clicks the Einstein setup button.
- 3AutoSurvey creates one prompt template in your org for each Einstein model that it offers. The template names start with AsChat. The page shows the status of each model.
- 4The admin chooses an Einstein model for each AI step.
- 5A user drafts a survey. AutoSurvey sends the request to the chosen Einstein model through its template.
- 6AutoSurvey checks the reply in the same way as a reply from any AI provider, and then builds the survey.
What it does, and what it does not do
What it does
- Calls Einstein from inside your org, with no API key.
- Lets an admin choose an Einstein model for each AI step.
- Shows the setup status of each Einstein model, and restores the AutoSurvey version of a template on request.
- Does not keep a copy of the prompt or the reply in AutoSurvey’s audit fields for an Einstein request.
- Clears temporary reply data from a failed or canceled run. That data becomes eligible for removal 72 hours after the run ends.
- Shows a plain message when Einstein is busy, so the user can try again.
- Checks every reply before AutoSurvey uses it.
What it does not do
- Does not include Salesforce Einstein. Your org needs Einstein generative AI from Salesforce.
- Does not change your Einstein Trust Layer settings. It makes no statement about how Salesforce handles a prompt. See the Salesforce documentation.
- Does not set its own usage limit on Einstein requests. Your Salesforce Einstein usage applies.
- Does not remove the prompt templates if you uninstall AutoSurvey. You delete them in Prompt Builder.
- Does not offer a model that your org does not have. Setup fails for that model.
- Can fail on a very large request, because some Einstein models have a reply size limit.
- Does not build Agentforce agents, topics or agent actions.
