AutoSurvey

Multilingual · Booking and signing pages

Booking and signing pages in the language of the respondent.

The slot-booking page, the signing page and the signed-document view show their buttons, headings and messages in all 34 languages of the AutoSurvey survey runner. Dates, times and seat counts use the same language.

Text that your staff types, such as a program name or an agreement, shows as your staff typed it.

AutoSurvey shows surveys in 34 languages. Respondents also book a time and sign documents on AutoSurvey pages. These pages now use the same 34 languages, including English (US).

Each page has about 95 fixed texts per language: buttons, headings, status lines, errors and empty states. A German respondent sees "Termin wählen". A Japanese respondent sees "時間を選ぶ". A French respondent sees "Choisir un créneau".

One language on the page.

Dates, day names, times, seat counts and time-zone lines use the language of the page. The page does not mix English text with German dates.

The right language, without a question.

The slot-booking page uses the language in its link (?lang=), then the browser language, then English. The signing pages use the browser language.

The signature pad too.

"Draw", "Type", the hint and "Clear signature" use the same language as the signing page.

The screens

These are design mockups. They use the real texts of the pages in German, Japanese and French, with sample data for a fictional family center.

What it does, and what it does not do

What the language support does

  • Shows the fixed texts of the slot-booking page, the signing page and the signed-document view in 34 languages, including English (US).
  • Formats dates, day names, times, seat counts and time-zone lines in the same language as the texts.
  • Picks the language of the slot-booking page from ?lang= in the link, then from the browser, then English.
  • Picks the language of the signing pages from the browser.
  • Sets the language of the page in its code, so a screen reader reads the text in the right language.

What it does not do

  • It does not translate text that your staff types: program names, places, contact names and relationship choices.
  • It does not translate the document, the disclosure or the certificate labels. Some messages from the server, such as booking errors and signing refusals, stay in English.
  • It does not add a language switcher to the page.
  • It does not add the language to booking links. Add ?lang= to the link yourself.
  • It does not use the preferred language on the contact record for the signing pages.
  • It does not translate emails, text messages or the Participant Request Center around the signing page.
  • It does not show right-to-left languages, such as Arabic or Hebrew.

How we made the texts

AI translated the fixed texts. We checked samples in five languages. Native speakers did not read all of the texts. Tell us if a text is wrong in your language.

Surveys have their own language features, such as a language control and a review workflow. See Multilingual surveys.

Fixed text

Text that AutoSurvey puts on the page, such as a button, a heading or an error. It is not the text that your staff types.

Slot-booking page

The page where a guest picks a time for a program session.

Signing page

The page where a person reads a document, types a name, signs and sends it.

Do your participants book and sign in other languages?
